The operating problem

Putting an asset on a programmable network solves an important part of the problem. It does not decide when the asset should move, who may authorize the action, how settlement completes, or how the result is recorded. Agents make that operating layer possible. They can watch, react, coordinate, and repeat. But autonomy only works when the system around it is structured.

The first proof

Trading exposes the whole problem.

A trading workflow must observe changing conditions, protect sensitive intent, evaluate price and size, act quickly, remain inside risk limits, coordinate two sides, complete delivery and payment, and update the resulting records. That is why Silvana starts with trading. If the operating layer can support private trading and atomic settlement, the same pattern can support broader financial workflows.

The agent needs approved information to understand when action is useful.

Private intent

Orders, quotes, inventory, and strategy should not become unnecessary public information.

Controlled action

Every material step should remain inside the mandate defined by the operator.
